The work being proposed is a mythic fable of political contamination
told in a digital context. The narrative proceeds through a linked
series of stories with social overtones. The intent here is to be
allegorical not didactic, and to render important national issues in
the format of entertaining tales. The narratives endeavor to present
transparent events of duplicitous meaning.Inexorable forces have
been set in motion in the world today, forces typified by cycles
of violence and misunderstanding. The audio and video structures
of this tape reflect the recurring nature of this circumstance. A type
of life-cycle embodied in these evolving narratives supports the
precept that these historical issues may be pared down to the
tangible form of individual lives: ominous perhaps, though not
defeatist; terminal no doubt, but laughing.
